The Time Has Come! The school musical is here and needs a well-trained crew. Rehearsals are mandatory, and are an important part of your grade for third quarter. If you do not attend rehearsals, you will not be eligible to work the performances for safety reasons. As often as possible I will reduce the time you are called for, and let you know as soon as possible what the new call times are. For now, the call times listed below are the maximum call times. Students on opposite crews may not switch or trade days with members of the other crew. Due to the long work hours during the end of February and into March, regular TV/FILM in-class projects will be put on pause, and 7th period will be a study hall so that students in crew can maintain excellent grades throughout the weeks of rehearsal and performances. During rehearsals, you will have short period of time during which you can eat, you are responsible for bringing your own snacks, food, and water in a sealed water bottle. Food must be consumed outside the auditorium. I encourage Crew to carpool as often as possible. Show black are required for all performances, and all dress rehearsals. Show blacks is the industry term for wearing all black clothing; shirts, shoes, socks, and pants must be black. Show black shirts were provided for all crew members during first semester. Work gloves and small flashlights for use back stage will be provided as well.
